Frogs at The Atlanta Botanical Garden (Photo Essay)

Well there is one thing the Atlanta Botanical Garden seemed to have an abundance of today - Frogs. From several different bullfrog ponds located throughout the area, to frog sculptures and even a Costa Rica tree frog display, this place had a lot of freakin frogs!

My photos of the tree frogs came out terrible. It was hard to focus on them from so far away. I was also bummed that my photos of this giant 12" bullfrog didn't turn out well too. He kept hedging under the plants and I couldn't get a decent focus lock on him.

But dispite the several photos I lost, I came home with easily 50 other good shots of frogs. This photo essay contains a sampling of those.

So sit back and enjoy.

lol..that sure is a lot of frogs. Neat pics! Frogs are cool.. we have tons in our yard. You can't see them most of the time, but you can sure hear them at night when you open the front door.. those suckers are LOUD LOL

Man, you got some really nice shots of the frogs. Frogs are cool. I like them. I always have. I used to have two little frogs in my locker in high school. Fake ones! Not real! My best friend and I named them Homer and Lolita. Hehe. Someone stole them shortly before we graduated. Never did find out who that person was. Darn them. Homer and Lolita rocked. LOL

These photos are great Marianne. They are hard to get a photo of. We used to take a flashlight with us and shine it on the frogs face, they "freeze" and then you can get a good photo. Or, you can just reach down and catch them, hold them and take a photo, LOL. I have some of both situations but yours are much better in their natural setting.

This is awesome, - I love frogs, real ones and fake ones,- now those sitting on the bench are too cool!!!!!!!!!!! Matter of fact was planning to post a picture of my frog planter sometime in the near future. There is just something about frogs that will put a smile on your face!!!!
