Gathering up Your Good Wishes - Thanks for A Nice Birthday Present!

I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who tried to help me make my Gather goal today! Your kind word, compliments and birthday greetings were very appreciated.

I also want to applaud your patience in making the many comments on my work on a day when Gather was not making it easy -- on almost every other comment I posted, I had to wait, copy my comment, close my browser, come back into gather, refind my contact, go to the correct page, repaste the comment, and wait again. It was hard for me to be patient when I was trying to maximize my time, and as excruciatingly slow it was uploading every photo and article, I know it was not fun posting multiple comments on my work.

Maybe at the end of the month Gather will give each of an extra few hundred points to compensate for our frustration! Seriously, I'm not sure if I made the cash option or not -- I'll let you know if and when I get the invitation -- but regardless, I met many wonderful people and saw hundreds of lovely images, and got to know many of you better. It has been great fun, no matter what happens with the points.
