okay, i used to be a photo major and now am a painter. i am trying to photograph a painting, but can't get rid of the glare. i know it's an issue with varnish/medium and reflected sunlight off the walls, but i cant seem to compensate for it. i took a piece once to a pro, and they had the same problem.
right now i have an elaborate set up of lots of larger paintings sort of blocking out most of the light, but then i run into exposures that are too long, and my tripod is broken.
any suggestions?
