Maybe not A Masterpiece

Things were a little slow around here and at home,

so I decided to do some exploring through a new site (STUMBLE) I've recently

discovered, thanks to another Gather member. Thanks Mandi!!

I landed onto a site that had a big blank piece of paper with controls on the left side.

Mmmmmmmm what's this???

INTERESTING.....

So I fiddled and diddled and ended up with some not too bad works of art.

This is the first piece I completed.

TITLED: Picture One

And the 2nd one I completed.

TITLED: Heat

I can't tell you how happy I am that Hubby created this without my prompting.

NOW I know that anyone can be inspired!

I could not believe my luck when I landed on it last night. You can paint without ruining a canvas, get ideas...and then paint it for real on a canvas! Or try new color combos before painting for real...or just create create create!!!

I am in love with stumble!!! I love surfing the web but never knew what to look for that was fun or just interesting!! Stumble lets you pick your interests and then they find stuff to entertain you!!

I stumbled upon the jackson pollock site that lets you make pollock type paintings like yours!

William is the Grand Prize winner of this years LATWALL Award (Looking At The World A Lot Lopsided) - Along with all the glory of this prestige award he also wins a years supply of Canned Yams, a large Black umbrella, one pair of Overalls and a years subscription to The Soup of the Week Club. Congratulations William. Please, everyone give the man a well deserved round of applause.

I was wondering when someone would notice the talking figures, but each person deciphers pictures differently. It seems to be a theme with me...faces, eyes, strange figures that seem to be communicating.

These are great! So late 50 and 60's abstracts .KC ,you seem to have a knack for this era!
I thought the first was a deep sea scene....with fish and eels!
And a round of applause for William...what a glorious treaure of prizes!
