I witnessed an interesting spectacle tonight. This weekend is the annual Celebrate Fairfax fair, with today as the opening night. As usual there was a fireworks display, which just happens to be fully visible from my back deck. Tonight there was an added attraction. As I watched the man-made fireworks directly ahead, natural thunder and lightening would sporadically flash off to my left. Perhaps they were competing against each other.
I'll add a photo of fireworks (from last year's annual 4th of July display at the National Mall)...just for fun.
