The Answer? Yes. The Answer. I've been rocking their Everyday Demons disc for a few months and its still fresh and bitchin! There are guitar solos and slamming drums. This isn't a crybaby band of introspective sissies. This has grind.
I haven't heard anything good out of Ireland since Thin Lizzy and Gary Moore. These guys kill. I've heard them slagged for being derivitive but if your band even remotely sounds like Zeppelin I'm going to be interested.

There are elements of Zep, Bad Co, Montrose etc on this offering. At times the vocalist reminds me of the guy from Forienger but the tunes rock way harder.
There are very few bands that still kick ass. Black Label does. Wolfmother too. And Chickenfoot! Sammy Hagar and Joe Satriani's new band. The Donnas stake their lives on tough grinding music too but by and large the market is soft and flaccid. Given to Justin Timberlakes, Beyonces and country this and that. This band is for ROCK fans only. Parlez vouz rock?
BTW yes, I have heard of U2 and I am aware they are from Ireland. I think they stink on ice. Well, I like their drummer and bass player but I despise the "Edge" and Bono. They don't rock. The Answer does. This isn't wimpy drivel like Yellowcard and Maroon 5, this is music that makes you want to have sex in a parking lot and smash your empty beer bottles against the wall.
