I'm going to have to vote for the original. This is one of those songs that no one can do better than the original artist. And I think the HIM version is awful. they totally destroyed it and made it into just a guitar song. Boring!
Here is a ten. I am not familiar with this group.
The ORIGINAL is the best!
What with Chris Isaak's smoky voice ~ OOOH...
Chris Isaak's version is beautiful but Him's version is awesome too. Funny I was actually going to use this for the song of the day today XD We are totally on the same music wavelength.
I love chris Issak's voice and would have to vote for the original to be the best of the ones you posted. I started listening at the bottom since I know Issaks version well and to me Stone sour, Paal Flaata, and Three Days Grace pretty much stayed true to the original and didnt do much new or original with it. How ever I love the version done by HIM! That was awesome! Thanks for introducing me to some new music! That is one I may have to go out and buy!
I noticed you havent posted these in a while and hope you will continue this series! I really enjoy these! I dont get out much so you help introduce me to new music I other wise never would have heard.
The original is the best. Chris Issak has a voice that melts right through you. I still remember where I was when I first saw this video. The only other artist that sounded ok doing this song was that one by Paal Flaata. It sounded countryfried.
