gummi bears, bouncing here and there

hygiene takes an interesting backseat when on the road for a prolonged period. its as if there's this acceptable re-run schedule for certain clothes. my socks are currently in syndication.

i'm in kentucky for a few days, chillin' with neily. we worked up an acoustic arrangement smash-up of king of rock and sucka MCs. it made me giggle.

oh, christian and i saw 'blades of glory' the other night. it was cute, but i didn't love it. i give it a C, with gusts up to C+. our friend travis bought some chocolate covered gummi bears, which tastes exactly as bad as you'd expect. of course that disproves einstein's third theory that everything tastes better smothered in chocolate.

My partner got a two weeks packet of socks with each day embroidered on each pair. For a while he was re-using them acording to the name of the day. By now i have broken his habit ... but it is a funny idea ... Would you tour also in Europe?

Living hard? Or just living lazy? And I can live with either. Been there, done both. But my OCDness is getting stronger. When I pack for even the most spur-of-the-moment trip, I always over pack underware and such. And when I get down to the bare essentials in sustenance, it is usually deviled eggs and bloody marys. Otherwise, sounds like you're kickin.

You could always just eat the chocolate on them then spit the gummi bears out.

My son buys all his socks in the same style and color so he doesn't have to worry about matching socks, they all match.

Welcome to Kentucky! My husband is a 48 state Trucker and his bath schedule is always at the mercy of being on the road. When he gets home the first thing I do is draw him a long hot bath.

When I was on the road my mother wasn't sure whether to wash my socks or have them carbon dated.

I'm with you on "Blades", I 'm a big Will (and Jon Heder) fan but it didn't live up to its potential.

Don't pick on Gummy Bears...all my grandkids and greatgrandkids love them!
As for the stinko socks, soak them in 20 mule-team borax, that outta do the
trick! My grandson Nicholas was jammin...Hendrix on electric guitar...you couldn't tell if it was Hendrix or my grandson...if you weren't watchin him play the guitar!

Are you sure the chocolate gummi bear thing doesn't have to do more with bad hygiene? Like, I'm wondering how often you get around to brushing your teeth. Because those days I'm on the road, you know, it's not only my socks that suffer.

Oh dear Pete...and I had such high hopes for us being lifelong friends!! Chocolate covered gummi bears rock! But that could be that I don't really like real gummi bears, so the chocolate is actually a huge improvement in my book! I also liked Blades of Glory...but that might just be because I wasn't expecting that much and I was in desperate need of a laugh.

Your story is fun. It reminds me of the hot shot executive I worked with. Very funny he used to buy his underwear and socks in bulk and throw them away! We were talking about laundry and he sends his out and didn't want to send the underwear or socks out. It would be nice to have the luxury of just throwingout your sock. LOL But that just seems so wasteful. Just think your doing you part to conserve. LOL Just don't get too close or buy febreese! too funny!

Alkistis, i would absolutely love to tour europe. thats definitely in our long-term goals. probably right after japan. i don't know if either of those will happen any time soon, unfortunately. i'm still trying to get to play a show that my parents can come to =(
