Wanna take a train ride? Hop aboard the online lounge car!
I’ve put into motion a new group called “TRACKS, a novel in stories – the online lounge car.” The lounge car is for readers who have hopped aboard and would like to discuss TRACKS, trains, or fiction in general. It’s also for people who want to be informed of the progress of TRACKS.
At the moment, TRACKS, is a finalist in round two of the First Chapters Writing Competition. Read and rate chapter two here. Voting remains open until April 25.
Excerpts from TRACKS have been published or are forthcoming in Coloquio, To Be Read Aloud, Write Here Write Now, and in an anthology of fiction from Loyola University's Press. TRACKS was also featured at the Baltimore Book Festival, the Mid-Atlantic's largest celebration of the literary arts.
I’d like to offer a big thanks to Gayle Hardman for providing the excellent image for TRACKS. The icon for TRACKS is copyrighted by Gayle Hardman, 2007. You can see more of her impressive images at her gather home.

After you’ve enjoyed her images, join Gayle and me in the online lounge car!
And don’t forget to read TRACKS! Read and rate chapter two here.
