Has cancer ever affected your life? If not, chances are that at some point it will. Have you ever thought about how many children die from diseases like cancer? Too many. I feel very fortuante that I am alive. No parent should ever have to bury their children. I made this video last year when I was fundraising for Relay for Life. Last year I raised $2,569.04 and this year I'm hoping to double that. I lost 3 of my friends to cancer in 2007 so I'm doing it this year in their memory. I myself am a cancer survivor and spent more time in the hospital in the last 5 years than I have at home. Losing so many other patients that I knew and cared for was hard. This year I'm going to fight for them!

Your fundraising from last year was impressive. I hope you are able to double it this year. As a cancer survivor and an oncology nurse I appreciate your efforts.
