Play on words is a neat word game where you will take the word for the week and by either writing an article or short story you will use the word in as many variations as possible.
You can add letters either in front of or behind the word. example: If the key word is DOG, you can use HOTDOG, DOGGIE, DOG-GONED, DOGGED, DOG-TIRED, DOGFIGHT, and I'm sure there are others. The article or short story should be no more than 500 words in length.
I will give out a new word every Saturday morning. On Friday I will pick a first place and second place entry and I'll feature them in the group for the entire following week, at which time I will pick two new ones.
PLEASE, PLEASE, when you submit anything to PLAY ON WORDS, keep it to the challenge. I do not want to moderate this group if I can avoid it. I want this group to be fun and enjoyable and to be challenged in their writing.

Media Bytes Week 11
looking forward to the challenges.
by-th'-by; do we have to embolden the Given Word? -seems a bit tedious, and not so fun on the eye(s) of the readers.
