The Age of Balance

I first earned a BA in Anthropology and then a MBA to give me the credentials and education to build upon my determination to create solutions that lead others to cooperate for sustainability.  I am enthralled with the potential for communities to achieve new successes by implementing ecologically sound business paradigms.

The sincerest progress comes when communities support their livelihood through activities that do not affect their environment adversely, and hence ensures health and vibrancy for themselves and others into the future.  Today’s businesses will perish if they do not aim to become carbon neutral, hazardous-waste free, build with only renewable and recyclable materials, grow organically, and commit to both employees and the world’s citizens.  Today’s entrepreneurs are prototyping the latest technologies, innovative practices, and breakthroughs that will effectively end the post-modern era and signify The Age of Balance.

I am positive that humans will overcome the pollution from previous generations of unstable living practices.  The momentum for change is in full-force.  Those who are responsible for this are the mavericks who did not accept harvesting the fruits of Earth implied its environmental degradation.  We all owe our sincerest appreciation to the prognosticators who challenged the status quo with action to educate us about the dangers of debilitating ecosystems. 

The challenges are enormous and the current devastation appears irreversible.  However, humankind has a unique ingenuity that no other species has ever evidenced: we can create the wares to survive in even the most inhospitable regions.

The seeds are sown, the growth has begun, and the ruinous aspects of our collective impact are already lessening per capita.  Accelerated gains are ahead, and more organizers join the Age of Balance every second.  Those of us who know the truth about exploitation will succeed in our endeavor by surpassing the viability of yesterday.
