Gather has really changed and I am afraid of leaving comments or posting pictures or making friends. Not sure who to trust or what to say to people. It blows my mind that if I leave one comment I offend someone if I leave that comment I offend someone else. People want you to look at there stuff but you have to watch what kind of comment you make. I just dont get it anymore. I am removing myself from lots of groups I was in and I am deleting friendships as well. Because I am really not sure who I can say what to or if I am allowed to leave a comment. So if you was my friend and you see I am no longer now you know why. I dont want to offend anyone. So I am gonna not be spending as much time on here anymore because to me it just isnt that much fun when you got to watch all you do and say.

It is frustrating at times. But I learned to stay away from the ones who get offended so easily.
I offeneded someone about a month ago for deleteing a comment.
Can you believe that?
And then they went and wrote a whole article about how evil I was.
But thats what happens with unstable people.
Always on suicide alert.
And In case you have not noticed we have lots of unstable people here.
Some have been kicked out.
But maybe you just offended someone who didn't yet take their meds in the morning. lol
Who knows anymore.
If you are looking for a safe place to comment, come to my page. I won't be upset... promise! :)
See like this...
Hi!
Thanks for posting.
hey if people don't want me to stop by and see their stuff they can remove me as their friend. I don't mind. You don't have to have friends on here to enjoy the site and all that it has to offer. Now mind you I love most of my friends on here. But if they are so stuck up that stopping by their page and saying... Thanks for sharing. Bothers them then they can just defriend me!
I understand what you mean, some get offended, some say you are spamming...it is hard to tip toe around sometimes..... If something is cool, I say so, if I am laughing to hard to type much I put LOL, I would hope that if someone is offended they would be polite and just say so...I will try very hard to leave non generic type comments :>}
I hope your evening gets better... :>}
If people would read what they comment on when leaving generic comments, I really don't think this would be an issue at all. Someone left the comment Lol...on a post someone made about a dying relative. Now what is so funny about?
Another person made some other off color remark on another post similar to that was generic comment that they placed on 50 of the same one on other content. That shows the person wasn't reading or even looking at the content. Just dropping by to leave the generic comment for a point view for themselves and moving on. That's different than what most people do.
BTW...generic comments do not bother me. The copyright infringement that runs rampant on Gather does.
I agree with you, I'm not sure what I can or cannot say in a comment unless it's an essay (like this one). I'll only post my own pictures and stuff I write making sure I point to every web page I reference including those that I use to help me spell names.
