Another visit from my hawk friend...

The hawk has been visiting every day again, after taking some time off... or maybe he was just in a new spot and I didn't see him. This morning, he made himself available for photos, though they aren't great ones. He sat on the corner of a neighbor's house for thirty minutes or more.

 

First, just assuming he'd fly away before I snapped it, I shot this one...

 

 

Then these two, just slightly more in focus...

 

 

 

 

 

                                                              

 

And then, without warning, he turned around as if he'd given in...

Julie - the hawk is a messenger - perhaps meditate a bit and you'll know what the message is...maybe you know already - also, there's a wonderful book called Animal Speak by Ted Andrews that may help you determine the symbolism of this hawk friend of yours - and it's a good picture. Salud

Oh, so pretty. You're lucky to get such a shot. Thanks for sharing. I have one that sits up in the top of a tree near the barn. He's huge, but I don't have a good enough camera to get a close up shot.
