Monday night happenings?

Just wondering what everyone is up to right now.

I'm having a lazy night tonight since my husband goes to school on Monday and Tuesday nights for his plumbing apprenticeship program. That means that I don't have to cook anything too fancy since it's just me and the kids. It's not like I ever cook anything fancy when he's home, but you know what I mean. So I've got some ground turkey defrosting in the microwave and will just make hamburger helper and probably some steamed veggies too.

Today I actually got some things accomplished which surprised me because I still haven't been feeling well. I'm having a Fibro flare-up and we've all been passing around colds. Rylan threw up last night because he was coughing so hard and then he vomited again today when he ate a piece of cheese. Ugh, will we ever start feeling better? Even though I'm not feeling well I was still able to fold most of the 5-6 loads of laundry that were sitting in our room, I rearranged my living room furniture and even vacuumed. I don't assume I'll be able to keep that pace up though for the entire week.

While waiting for the turkey to thaw out, I just started playing Netwinner for the day (got a late start today) and currently have 21,550 points. I already earned my Boomertowne points for the day and have slowly been working on visiting everyone's content on the 'April Cash Option go-getters' list. I hope all those people are able to get the cash option this month, but there's 24 people shooting for it so I don't know if it will happen or not.

Intervention is on tonight and that's one of my favorite shows, so I hope it's not a re-run.

What are you all doing tonight? Will you all be able to survive while Gather is down for an hour or so? What kind of glitches do you think will be waiting for us when it comes back on?

Ooh.. a real rootbeer float, or one of those A&W bottled ones? I tried the bottled one yesterday and was really disappointed by it. My friend Carla searched all over Salem for it, finally found it, and we were all let down.

I am just getting over being sick myself. So I will more than likely go to bed early tonight. But I still won't got to sleep until 1 or 2 am. I got my Home Interior order today so I was busy putting my new items up around the house. Tomorrow I plan on do all the laundry that we have piled up. Since I have been sick for the last 4 days I am way behind. Hope you get to feeling better soon.

I'm just about to put my laptop away and figure out what we're having for dinner. There's not much on TV tonite, but there is a new episode of Jon & Kate plus 8 on and that's one of my favorite shows. Then, I'll probably get back online and work on my Boomertowne points until gather comes back online.

Well, darn it. My 6 year old son just came in from playing outside to tell me that tonight is 'McTeachers Night' at McDonalds and I was already cooking dinner. Now he's crying because we're not going to eat at McDonalds tonight.

my husband isin the levator trade and has to do school on Wednesdays and yes its nice not having to have a nice fancy dinner.. sometimes we just grab a bite from town!

Its raining here right now and were fixing to get another bad round of weather.. not too bad just rain and winds,, hopefully!!

I got sick Saturday morning and after I throw up now for some reason my face looks like a freaking hickey due to all the red bumps that stay for a few days!

I thought I was going t get through this pregnancy without getting sick like that but I didn't :(

Noone else has been sick!

We are just relaxing. My husband has a friend that came over, so they are playing pool & I am waiting till he leaves so we can finish watching the movie Finding Neverland.

Faith, thanks for the helping others article, I have been visiting 1 or 2 people everyday to help them reach their goals. I just hope they understand that they need to be very active as well to make this work!

Sorry to hear everyone's been sick. We're all sick around here and passing it back and forth too..grrrr. I caught a nasty cold about 3 weeks ago, and I STILL have a slight cough and my nose still runs sometimes.. it just won't go away. I say put the dinner on the back burner and go to McD's too..leftovers are good! Not much going on on my end tonight..there never is.. lol I ate some frozen General's Chicken I bought at Walmart yesterday, and now i'm watching One Tree Hill and getting ready to go back to work since I goofed off all day.. I'll be up most of the night working as usual. :O))

hello my faithy! i finally got a picture to upload when i was home for lunch. i'm hoping i can do more tonight!

the boys are at Awanas so i have about another hour of ME time!!!

one nice thing with matt being gone is that i don't have to cook a whole lot...little meals work great for me and the boys!

oh yeah...take the kids for dessert. they'll love ya even more :)

Priscilla - I love to just relax and made a deal with the kids that if they eat their dinner without complaining that we're not eating dinner at McDonalds, then we'll go get dessert from there... so even though I'd love to just relax, I can't. :O(

How is Finding Neverland so far?

You're very welcome for the help! It's been lots of fun for me to do and I hope that I can do it again next month. I am not sure if all of the people will get that cash option though because like you said, I don't think they all understand exactly HOW active you have to be to earn enough points.

Hi Faith! I adore the show Intervention--thanks for reminding me that it's on. My hubby had to travel to Canada for his grandma's funeral; I am lonely :( We had a long distance relationship for five years & every time he has to travel, it reminds me of it! So for a few days, it's just me and my boys (16 yrs. old and 5 months).

Hi there Deb. I've seen those small digital cameras at Walgreens or places like that for only $10 and as far as I know, they take decent photos. You can always pick something up like that if you want to give it a try. I love to take pictures and couldn't imagine being without one.

Well, we just ate... the kids got through it without a complaint. I know they were disappointed by not going to McDonalds tonight. We'll go for dessert though, yummy.

I've only won 75 points at Netwinner this whole time, but I guess I've only spun it 13 times. I tell you, I'm about the give up on that website. I asked for a $25 card back in January and it still says it's processing. I almost have enough for another $25 card and I think I might quit after I order it. I'd rather spend time and effort on things that actually pay out.

Just to give you a heads up on Netwinner. I cashed out for $24 on 11/18/07 and it still says processing. But there are several people hear on gather that swear that we will get the giftcards. I currently have 117,000 more points to cash out once I get the card. Which isn't too back considering I don't play everyday. More like once a week. lol

Deb - I love InboxDollars, actually, they are one of my favorite sites. I like SendEarnings for the same reasons, but their cash-out is higher. I also love mypoints, Boomertowne and WebRidesTV for points programs. There are a lot of survey programs that I participate in too, including PineCone, which I love.

Do you happen to know the brand of camera you have? If so... maybe we can hook up on a chat or IM one of these days and I can try to help you with it. I'd need to know the brand so I can look for the manual online.

(Gather is really slow for me right now too)

Amanda - we ate dinner here, wasn't too bad as far as Hamburger Helper goes. I didn't make steamed veggies with it like I wanted to, but should have because I'm still hungry. We're going to leave here in about 10 minutes to grab some dessert, I have been trying to get ahold of Carla though on IM to see if she wanted something from there before I go.

Thanks for the tips/advice on Netwinner. I'll just wait it out and MAN, you're doing so well with the points! BT is certainly boring, but I'll stick with that one too because the points are easy to earn and the gift cards come fast.

Hope ya'll enjoy your dessert. I would have done the same thing. LOL. I more than likely would have more points on Netwinner if I played everyday. Dan Cole won $25 the other day and he is one of my two referrals so I got 2500 points from that. I make myself do BT everyday because of the great rewards. Hubby got $1oo visa on Saturday. I am waiting on 2 $100 visa. We are saving them for our family vacation trip this summer.

I managed to get my netwinner points and some bt points earlier today, before the headache took over. My goal was to vacuum and wash the floors, but a few ours of a bad bad headache ruined that plan. My husband cooked dinner, and the boys are in bed. I am just trying to catch up a little, while planning the grocery list for tomorrow morning. Oh, what an exciting life:)

Faith I hope you and the children get to feeling better. I have not had a bad day at all, just have been very lazy. Took off from my gather ambition for a while and watched Alvin and the Chipmonks with Donald. We had date night in the past, I didnt gather after 7 pm and we watched Ugly Betty and Greys Anatomy. that was Thursdays. On tuesday we watched NCIS then I computered and he watched tv still. Now nothing we like is coming on anymore. So we just watch the same hallmark shows at bedtime.

Hope you guys had a fun night. I was just on checking the weather in a few cities we will be driving through tomorrow. We've been loading up the car, and I just realized that we forgot to pack in my old computer, so now we have to TRY to find room for it. :( I need to take it and just leave it at my parents' house. It crashes A LOT, but since I only go to my parents' house once or twice a year, I won't be saving a bunch of stuff so it won't matter. As long as it works well enough to get me online (which it definitely does) that's all that matters! We can't afford for me to not do anything online for over a month! And my husband will have the laptop with him while he's in school, and my sister's computer is really slow.
