For everyone out there in Gather Land - this is a picture of me. The Blue Jay that I am holding is one that we rescued. We set him free about 10 minutes after this picture was taken.
WWe do WIillife Rescue -squirrels, birds, racoon, opossum-we have so many pictures like this it brings back great memories. We rescued a Catbird that followed us around once he ws released. He'd be on my fencing and follow me as I gardened. So many of our released babies come back, it's wonderful
Did he hit your window or did you raise him from a baby? He looks young. I had a robin once I took to work for 6 weeks. he had no feathers when I found him. He would come back to the same tree every spring and call for me. I knew his voice over the other robins. he answered to Peepers.

Great picture
