Cats or Dogs?

I was checking out one of my contacts pics and I noticed the cutest picture of 2 kitties in the tub (had I been quicker on the draw I'd have saved the link - but I didn't).  Anyway, lots of the comments said things like "pretty cute for a cat" or "I'm not a cat person, but it is cute".

I know some people consider themselves to be cat people or dog people, so what are you?

I have both, but if i could only pick one. I would have to say Cat person.

I like just about any kind of animal and I've had both cats and dogs. I'm really seriously allergic to cats though, so even though I love them I would have to say I'm a dog person. But guess what? What kind of pet do I currently have??? A cat, of course LOL My 21 year old daughter brought it home from sports camp one summer day and begged me to keep it, and I'm such a pushover. I've been suffering for 7 years having her here, but she's a smart kitty and she stays off my bed so I can live with it :)

I love both types of animals. If I were to get a pet, I would probably choose a cat since they are able to take care of themselves and do not need a lot of attention. Dogs need more attention and need to be walked, bathed, fed and more. I love both but would prefer a cat as a pet unless I had a lot of free time.

It's so hard for me to choose. I used to be totally cat, but then have fallen for some wonderful dogs in the past 10 years. I love my cats and dogs and really can't choose anymore. I don't like long haired cats or dogs much though.
