Well, it was a fun ride for the neo-conservatives while it lasted -- the Christian right was a cheap date for them, all it required was persecuting a few minorities and a little posturing and they got hundreds of thousands of people to vote against the future of their children, the care of their elderly, and against their own economic interests. It was probably inevitable that from this moral wasteland a populist Social Gospel politician would awake from the dead. That may be the end of the Republican party that we have all grown to despise as amorality wrapped in a flag and carrying a cross.
The question is does Huckabee's victory in Iowa mean that the religious right just figured out they were getting their pockets picked, or...does it just mean they couldn't stomach voting for a Mormon?

I suspect three buck Huck won in Iowa for many reasons, including the ones you mention. They may have tired of Romney's negative ads and myriad positions on every issue. They don't trust him or his religion.
But yeah, many on the christian right are no different than liberals. The only difference is that God makes them want to take and give instead of emotions and self appointed moral righteousness.....
The toad does not realize that the electorate has changed and that the issues are vastly different.
I choose "B".
Oh and by the way, Romney reminds me of Gary Hart. I can't put a finger on why... but he does.
