One never has enough money, do they Hillary?
I guess not. It also does not matter where you get the money from or how you get it - legally or illegally.
The fact that Mr. Hsu turned himself in for a sixteen year old charge of Grand Theft should not hide the fact that he, very likely, gave money to people in order to get that money to Hillary and other Democratic pols.
That is illegal.
It is also something which is not that hard to track given the amount of information required when one gives to a political campaign.
But, then, it comes as no surprise that a Clinton would want to get loads of money from any source possible. Anyone remember Johnny Chung and Charlie Trie? How about the Lincoln bedroom and all the coffees that Bill had with some very questionable people? All to get the almighty dollar.
The Republicans have their issues as well. But when Dems talk about the culture of corruption, they conveniently forget Clinton, Inc.

I am so very glad that you are back Dale . I missed you'
Here is something interesting I just read, top Democratic fundraiser Hsu turned himself in on charges of grand theft charges and is being held on a $2 million dollar bond. Just another example of the questionable people that the Clintons associate with. The link in case you want to read the story:

Diana - The lust for money is bad for anyone. It's just extremely sad and frustrating when the "unbiased" media will make much hoopla about any Republican money issue and barely talk about the Clintons. Particularly when the Clintons are moving significantly more money.
Fran and Vickey - Thanks, it's good to be back.
The GOP has more than their share of "issues."
What actual crime did the Clinton's commit, btw? As I heard it, Hillary has rejected every penny that Mr. Hsu donated to her campaign.
" Why do pols of both parties constantly put America on the block to the highest bidder?"
Because, once again, the "free market" has failed to protect our public infrastructure. We need public financing, and an end to corporate cash in the process.
Besides, compare this with the Jack Abramoff story. Yeah, there is no comparison because the media's angle was that Abramoff only influenced Republicans (which is a lie) and therefore was front page news for months. Hsu only benefitted Dems and, therefore, this will only be a story for a day or two.
So what? What crime was it for her to accept it in the first place? None. Why would she refuse legally donated campaign funds? How about we just have every single candidate expose every single one of their campaign contributors, and every single time we find one who's even committed a minor offense, we force that politician to fork over the funds? Is that what you want? Are you REALLY going to sit there and pretend that there isn't a SINGLE republiCON out there who's accepted a single penny from the likes of Jack Abramhoff, for instance? I think we all know better than that, don't we?
"Yeah, there is no comparison because the media's angle was that Abramoff only influenced Republicans (which is a lie) and therefore was front page news for months."
Really? Let's see your evidence that Abramhoff conspired with and committed criminal acts to fund democrats. This outta be good. I'll grab some popcorn...
"Hsu only benefitted Dems and, therefore, this will only be a story for a day or two."
It's a well-established fact that the MSM is overtly liberally biased. Won't you please join me in a campaign to restore the Fairness Doctrine, so that we can see a leveling of the playing field again, finally?
"How about we just have every single candidate expose every single one of their campaign contributors"
Yes - exactly. And don't limit their contributions. That way we don't have to go through all these silly gyrations with campaign finance reform.
"and every single time we find one who's even committed a minor offense, we force that politician to fork over the funds?"
I don't call what Hsu did - Grand Theft - to be a "minor offense". I also don't call channeling large amounts of funds through everyday Joe's to be a small and insignificant thing.
As far as Abramoff and Dems go - Harry Reid and Byron Dorgan.
Then, why are you complaining about the "liberal media?"
"Yes - exactly. And don't limit their contributions. That way we don't have to go through all these silly gyrations with campaign finance reform."
This is absurd. What we NEED is public financing of campaigns.
"I don't call what Hsu did - Grand Theft - to be a "minor offense". I also don't call channeling large amounts of funds through everyday Joe's to be a small and insignificant thing."
Oh, but Jack Abramhoff, Scooter Libby, Duke Cunningham, et all have been unfairly treated, right?
"As far as Abramoff and Dems go - Harry Reid and Byron Dorgan.
Crimes, please. I asked for CRIMES committed by democrats. I see no crimes committed by either man.
That is the right way of fixing a situation. Not running to Nanny Government and whining for them to do something.
How much of the money donated by him through proxies did she return?
As to Hsu - he was a wanted fugative when he made that donation. Ms Clinton knew that. After all it was from her own husbands campain that he was charged the first time.
"Yeah, I think she is more sorry that he got caught than anything." Shelly you are absolutely right.
Troy in answer to your question. NO
Troy - No, it wouldn't surprise me at all if Hsu suddenly meets his maker sooner rather than later. Just another of those "coincidences" with the Clintons.
When is the world going to realize the Clintons came to the White House broke, Hillary is now personally worth 8 million, hmmm, how do you suppose she made so much money in such a short time??
If it was donated through proxies, how would she know and be able to return the money. She accepted donations which were apparently legal. When it was learned that the giver was indicted for grand larceny, she rejected the donations.
If you have a problem with this perhaps you should write a "code of ethics" for people running for office so they would know just who's money they could reasonably accept. Do you, in your wildest dreams, ever think that all the money received by the Republican candidates is totally free from crime, coercion or scandal? If so, we need to have that talk about the really good bridge stock I have!
Came to the White House broke? You've got to be kidding! I've been broke. The Clintons or anyone else, arriving at the White House is not broke. And Haliburton makes money much faster and more of it than the Clintons. Look at her profits from her book, they far exceed anything I'll have in my entire life. If Hillary gives a million back for some reason it will make no significant difference in her campaign.
