Well I have noticed an increase in the issue of Health Care now that another Clinton is running for office. It's an issue without any real viable solution to date, Bill ran on a ticket of giving a solution to the problem which turned into an 8 year paycheck for Hillary and was nothing more than a flop in Washington never coming close to fixing anything. Now here we go again, "it was a Lie then and its an even bigger Lie now!"
I'll tell you I followed the Clinton's real close because this one thing, Health Care it even peek my interest, the thought they were trying to do the right thing. I have to say you really need to look at this bag of rotten potatoes they are trying to sell us again. Its not only scummy and full of slime but it just plan stinks. We are led to believe how it will save us, and cut cost, but what it does is gives the insurance companies more money and turns our health care into a real mess. There is just to much Big Money in Washington from the Insurance Companies to make any kind of real change to combat the rising cost and that's the real problem here not the quality of health care but the cost.
If you think the government should run the health care system in this country what will we do, mirror our health care after such offices as the Postal Services ( which can't compete even delivering mail) , our oh so loved IRS Offices ( looking more like some black opp's operation ), The Social Security Office ( which shuffles endless piles of paperwork ), the Department of Family Services ( with a heart but to many lacking real qualifications ), or better yet after our dear DMV's, you know we all just love waiting around in all those offices. Lets just turn our health care over to the government to dispense health care too.
Turning more of our lives over to government and government offices is not what we need, why try to fix a problem by making it worse first! I think the governments job should be to regulate the insurance companies and the almost crime like dealing they seem to get away with.

It would take a very big push from the people, a campaign in itself ( no party lines just the people ) if enough people push it they would have no other choice!

The insurance companies are too entrenched - I agree with Doria we need reform in the political system before we let them manage our healthcare. I did not want to see Sicko because - Michael Moore needs to loose a lot of weight before he starts preaching about healthcare. In a capitalistic country we will never go for socialised care - the whole system needs to be turned upside down.
My 2 cents worth take care of yourselves - prevention my friends and a good clean life.

I guess Moore's very much Hollywood approach to fixing anything is to give it over to the government all the while taking more and more of the real peoples control out of our hands altogether.

The real problem is if the government takes control allot more will go without! Can you see it now, someone has to give you permission to even go to the ER, someone telling you that the hip replacement cost to much or you'll have to wait until next years budget comes out to have that done.
