Crocheting a Ripple Patterned Afghan

I am on my last skein of yarn for the ripple pattern afghan. I am thinking I want to put an edge on it. I have been thinking and trying to figure out the best edging for this ripple pattern and thought I'd get you, gather friends', opinions also.

This is a great frugal gift for a household shower and also a great money saver!

Wow, looks like a beautiful afghan, Cathie! I've always wanted to learn how to crochet but never had the patience! However, I just found a "learn to crochet" video on one of my refunding boards that someone had for sale for $4.00 so I'm buying it and maybe that will help me!!!

Cathie, this is such a beautiful afghan. I wish I could still do this kind of stuff, but my fingers won't allow me to hold the needle long enough to do diddly squat.....as far as a border, I honestly don't know what to say.....good luck!
