A Free Way to Expand Your Horizon

I was on line and found that MIT has made about 1,800 courses available on line. These courses are non-credit, self study with a complete down load of all the basic materials. If you want to learn a little more about religion, social science, politics, philosophy, math or what ever, you choose can down load the material and self study free.

I checked out a few schools for comparison, but MIT seem to be the best in my opinion- that's my opinion and you'll have to decide for yourself.

Courses are updated as needed by the school and a few even offer podcasts of the lectures and it's free!

I looked into this last year, and just didn't have the time. I would love to take some of the courses offered!

When I turn 60 in September, I can then go to our local college free and take whatever classes I want either on campus or online. My husband is over 60 and has already taken free classes on creative writing at the college.
