Bob Marley said 'Read it in the News!" Reading the newspaper is always good advice; I always make it a point to read the paper daily. Michelle Obama made front page today in the Chicago Sun Times because of her recent comments that John Mccain's wife and many in the media jumped all over.
I like, Michelle said things that some people feel were unpatriotic and I will continue to do so. Martin Luther King, Malcolm X and Muhammad Ali also made "unpatriotic" remarks in the opinions of many at the time, not bad company as far as I'm concerned. My DD 214 reads Honorable Discharge, to me action speaks louder than words even when it comes to patriotism.

I perfer the news or cnn.com for my news though.
I could see how some people think Obama's wife's comments were unpatriotic. I saw them on the news before the uproar and I was surprised that she said that. I am not sure if i was surprised that she said it because of the predictable backlash or if I was surprised she said it. I am very proud of this country. i also understand what I think she was trying to say. If she was saying what i think she was saying. I would like to believe she was saying what i though.....
