Based on a Chicago Tribune poll printed in the Dec. 16 Chicago Tribune, Illinois Dems perfer Obama 2-1 over Hillary Clinton. The electablility between the two was judged a virtual tie. Obama is projected to run really strong in Chicago, heck Obama runs strong all over the state for that matter from city to rural and with voters of all racial and ethnic lines.
Better news I just got off the phone with my sister and she is supporting Obama. Sis always could pick a winner when she saw one and of course my Gather buddies already know that I'll be supporting Obama. As for my brothers- Obama!

I like to hear Obama speak. I mean it "feels" really hopeful. But, then I start thinking, "Is this guy you really want standing in between you and something really horrible?" Nope.
But, in my opinion - Both Biden and Richardson hit the ground running.
And, Richardson is just as warm and fuzzy as Obama (but with experience) - and yet you seldom hear about them.
I don't like any of their stances on immigration. In a sense, I feel like I woke up one day and didn't recognize my party. It seems like the people who have the least amount of experience are the ones that are the most popular.
It's like as an employer walking into a room full of prospects and saying, "Okay, everyone. If you have experience - please leave".
Then again. Never mind. This may be starting to make sense.
