Each day I'll share a new "Mom I'm Bored" idea..... in hopes to keep your kids busy through the summer!
Today's Boredom Buster:
Snowballs in Summer
You need:
2 pans or buckets
1 bag of cotton balls
1 spoon
something to blindfold the eyes
Empty bag of cotton balls into one pan. Blindfold child. For 1 minute have the child "dig up the snow" (aka, the cotton balls) from one bucket/pan and place them in the other. At the end of 1 minute see how many snow balls they've managed to move to the other bucket! No using the other hand either.... one handed dipping only!
*While it sounds easy, the trick is that cotton balls weigh nearly nothing! The kids will have no idea if they have a spoonful of "snow balls" or not. And the other kids around can cheer them on, pretending like they just dumped a huge spoonful into the other bucket, when they didn't have a thing!

It's a lot of fun and I've yet to lose a child to frost bite so I think it's pretty safe too!
