What were your favorite jobs?
I began working around 13, starting out with babysitting. From that I went to working at McDonald's, then as a lifeguard at our state park and then as a cashier for a local department store in my teen years. Through college I worked summers at McDonald's, along with working in a local Quickie Mart/Gas type of place.
Once I graduated college and was married... I got the "real" jobs.
I've been:
- data entry for a plumbing/roofing supplier
- billing for a hospital
- traffic manager of a nuclear valve corporation
- inventory clerk & invoicing for an electrical store
- internet marketing manager for a plastics manufacturer (2nd fave job)
- administrative assistant (aka secretary) for a German power company & for a large bank
- and then my current work at home position doing book reviews (fave job).
Want to hear something scary? Of all the jobs I've had, EVERY single one of them except the bank one has either closed up or been bought out; hence my job change! LOL So if you see me coming to work with you, you had better start looking for a new job!
