For around $200 you can get set up for buying medical marijuana. It was another article in the same issue. A reporter described the process in detail.

I have glaucoma, don't worry, it's slightly more dangerous than allergies as long as it's treated and you stay on top of it. When I was diagnosed I came in to work and told my boss. She was more of a friend. The first thing to come out of her mouth was "You can get medical marijuana!" She was envious.
