This one of my favorite proverbs because in Africa when Lions hunt they have been known to set up a simple trap for their prey. The Lion pride will often place an older, sick or wounded lion in the front of the prey and this lion will roar, the prey will naturally run away from the roar and into the rest of the pride with its' strong and healthy members and into certain death. The roaring lion did not kill in this instance and the prey could have saved their life by running towards the lions' roar. Running towards the lions' roar summarizes my life philosophy, this roar can be one thing for one person and something else for another, but whatever your roaring lion, run towards the roar by doing so you may save your life.

I have also found that the person talking the loudest is usually the weakest, they use being loud as a defense. A big month can intimidate and be threatening. But if you push back they will usually lower that voice, before a real confrontation. My mother used to tell me if you get into it with a group in school and you have to fight, hit the one with the biggest month frist. It takes the steam out of the rest of the group, when they see him or her fall.
