Waiting For Spring

I was a little bored this weekend and decided to paint. It was not that I didn't have anything to do because I always have something that needs to be done. I just felt restless and in a rut with the same old chores etc. I didn't have any more of the framed canvases left that we got on sale last month. This is a wooden crate top that had a different image on it. I painted over it. I painted a similar image a few weeks ago called A Spring Breeze. This one has more gold and different shades of green and brown etc.

Mother Nature/Waiting for Spring

She sleeps in winter
rest and rejuvenation
rebirth in the Spring
