Sopranos -- what will happen?

My Sunday is ruined. "The Sopranos" is ending tonight and I can't seem to concentrate on anything.

At least I discovered that my cable provider has an East Coast feed channel for HBO so I can see it at six pm instead of waiting until nine.

How do you think this will end? Specifically will Tony die?

At one point I thought it would be clever for Tony to be shot and have Carmela take over the family. She's a strong woman underneath (though probably too moral for an active crime life) but now we're in the last episode and the time for that ending has flown by.

Current thoughts:

1] Tony was being set up to die (foreshadowing) when the guy who ordered the hit on him said something to the effect of "That Jersey bunch isn't a real family, they're just a 'crew'."

2] I think a cool ending would be like Butch Cassidy and the Sundance kid where Tony and whoever's alive in the safe house steel themselves, draw their guns, open the door and all we hear is a volley of gunfire.

What do you think will happen? Do you care? Give me something to do until 6.

I canceled my premium channels so I have not seen any of this last season. I am waiting for the whole sha-bang to come out on DVD.

So I will ignore any thing you post that gives it away for me! LOL!

I think Tony will die & A.J. will pull himself out of his teen-age suicidal angst and take over the Family.

I don't know how it will end but will be sad that it is ending period. It will be a night on cable not to be missed. Would like to see A.J. take over...

Hmm, I have thought through the entire series that had to end it with Tony dying but now as the moment rapidly approaches I don't want it to happen. They have him in pretty deep and even if he kills Phil there will be others in his family who step up so it isn't like Tony could take over both. I can hardly wait. I am having a Godfather marathon today to prepare myself. Maybe I will make some baked ziti open up a nice bottle of Chianti....

John--well, maybe not, he meets that FBI guy al ot and he was the one who told him Phil had a contract out. Hmmm.

Jacob. Yes, Christopher died. In a bad car accident [might not have survived] and Tony pinched his nostrils until he suffocated. Tony was getting paranoid about Chris.

Remember, sports fans, Chase is not known for tidying up plots at the end.

Well, John you're right and Chase lives up to his reputation, but with the guy going into the bathroom it had sort of the feel that there was going to be a shooting-kinda, sorta, maybe like Butch and Sundance, so I'm giving myself 1/2 point on a ten point scale.
