The once curvy body, a fond memory today.
Sagging is the derierre, swayin'like the rear of a cow;
The once 36C now a 38 long, and this I truly say.
Wrinkles like dry furroughs, with no heed to plow.
Where did it go...did i not count the minutes.
Did I not make memories to have them today?
Sad but true, the ole memory file has less and less in it,
As age like a thief in the night has its way.
Thankful I am for bindery, hex and digital play.
Memory no longer a factor in this brain today,
Images to save on disc or print are but a click away
Scan those oldies but goodies for yet another day.
Share with family and friends who knock at the door
Those pics you cherish of when you were SO FINE!
Oh, a secret I'll share if you wish here-to-for
Time has no age with digital EDIT, so very kind!
;>)
FYI,
Poetry is new to me, so please be kind
Rhyming, chiming...of that I have no mind
But its fun to try and that is why
Around friends at Gather, I am not shy!
