On July 4th of this year I plan to embark on a journey of a lifetime. I plan to walk form St. Louis, Mo. to Washington, DC. The reason for the journey, A March of Independence, is to talk to people along the way about politics in this country and how it seems to be no longer ,"of the people". On this 740 mile quest I will rely on myself and the kindess of strangers to help me along. I also hope to find my true self and put my past behind me. The trip should take about 40 days. During the trip I will also be writing a Referendum to Indepenence, which I will use the input from those I talk to along the way. When I reach D.C. I plan to give this to my Congressmen and Senators in the hope to address Congress itself.
As of now I am taking this journey alone and with my short supply of resourses I count of faith and a plenty of hard work to reach my goal. So far faith has brought me a excellent backpack, now I am looking for hiking boots and a tent. I have a month to get these things togther along with food and water. I know things will come togther and I will be able to leave on time and in safety.
Maybe some fo you who may read this I will be lucky enough to cross paths with. I plan on crossing the States of IL, IN, KY, OH, WV and VA. May peace and joy be with us all.

P.S. 3 weeks to go before I go. Things are falling into place and more and more people, objects and ideas come my way as time nears. So, now more the ever I'd love to receive any ideas or thoughts. Thank you again.
