More bird photos
May 26th, 2009, a female Goldfinch at my feeder. You can see the head of a different type of female finch in the lower right hand corner.

The same two birds. I love how you can see the seed falling. Hate the mess.

A male Evening Grosbeak in my Mountain Ash tree.

Another male Evening Grosbeak in my ash. Love the blooms in this shot. I have over 30 males and maybe the same number of females in my yard as I type this. They will be gone to there breeding grounds in about a week. As much as I love seeing these beautiful birds every year I am also glad to see them go. They eat me out of house and black sunflower seed and are very noisy.

Can you see this little Chipping Sparrow ( I think ) he is in the deep shade collecting nesting material. He is right next to a pine cone. These were taken May 22nd, 2009 in the Teanaway before I left .

This is a Western Tanager. Sorry about the picture quality but the rotten bird wouldn't stay and pose any longer. Not only are these birds beautiful their song is as well.

Taken May 16th, 2009 in my backyard here's one of my favorites. A Steller's Jay in my ash. He seems to be calculating some move to get some grub.

The same Jay showing off his tasty morsel.

My fiance loves to birdwatch, and names them as he sees them. I keep telling him to get out the camera and get some shots or vids but he doesn't listen.
well then telll him I said so ! that ell work ( yeah right) I would love to see them though !
Thanks Shannon
You have such wonderful bird photos! We have feeders out, but there are too many cats in our area..so we do not get many visitors except some crows & sparrows currently.
I think I get a variety because of where I live, also because I offer black sunflower seed
Thanks Priscilla
Wow, you get some very colorful birds in your yard. I get woodpeckers, bluebirds and cardnials lately..I know the bluejays and redneck woodpeckers both have nests near by.
Thanks Minipin
