My Zoo Trip

My husband and I took a trip to the zoo this summer, and I have yet to share the photos.  I thought I'd do a little photo essay and share them with you now. 

Some of the animals enjoyed a little summertime nap:

Here are the other animals that were more lively:

Ostriches

Zebra

Dik Dik

Baboons

Some type of bird

A colorful frog

Flamingo

Some type of cat.  He had an injury to his front paw though and limped quite a bit.  He still got around okay though.

Bison

Cougar

Sea Lions

Hope you enjoyed the photo essay from my summer trip to the zoo.

Looks like a very cool place! The bird looks like a Bird of Paradise but I'm not sure.

I liked he dik dik best - did not know there was such a thing.

Notice the plant behind the Dik Dik ....Mother in laws tongue - that is the plant for people like me who kill plants - you can't kill it.
