When I watched Stuart Little I thought Falcons were mean. Stuart Little was just a tiny mouse so I thought falcons were big enough to snatch people up. On the way to the horses Grandma and I decided to look up and read about falcons. Some people keep and train falcons as a sport. Once you could tell an Englishmans rank by what kind falcon he had. There are over 39 species of falcons. That means 39 different kinds of falcons. Falcons are very, very fast fliers. One picture I saw showed an adult falcon. It was black, white and a bit of red. There was a tinsy bit of orange on it's feet. Baby ones are white. Falcons can live 15 years sometimes. A bad chemical almost killed them all, but it was banned.
I don't think they are mean anymore. I like falcons.

Keep up that curiosity streak Lili!
I love falcons. :)
Lili and Debbie - For three years I lived at an old stagecoach station in the desert where a pair of wild falcons also lived. It was so exciting to see the soar and dive in the wind. I don't know what kind of falcons they were, but they were beautiful.
Love ya
