I am dedicating these photos to ANKIKA S. a member in gather who wishes to have been near the sea and hear the murmur of the waves. I feel blessed and grateful to live near the sea which is the love of my life and want to share with Ankica a day when the sun was shinning warmly and some beautiful sun sets which are hugging one in the dark moments of the soul.

What is the thesis all about?

This summer I learnt lots of Russian words. Many people from your country are on the Greek beaches and I also love the " musical names" like Liuba, Tamara......... there is a soft touch of spiritual music in pronouncing the Russian names. I really hope you will be able to come one day soon.

I hope so, too, darling... and my thesis has to do with ancient Jewish and early Christian bibliographical sources. So I'm in the process of mastering my Hebrew - and Greek. :-)

When I read Ankica's comments on some old photos I have posted in gather and read her last poem, my heart went out to her and here I am.
Thank you Marry Ann and guess what? lots of butterfiles are flyinng over the sea. it is something new that I have noticed this year.

Retirement has proven to be quite "the bee's knees", Marinela. As I watch all my teacher friends complain that the summer was not long enough, I smile cause in 16 days I'll be on my adventure to travel Down-under.

The photographs seem idyllically peaceful, but...,

I noticed the coconut tree you often climb. Of course splitting open a coconut is hard, so it must be dropped on someone with a hard head.
