So on April 1st I'm joining all the other people who try to hit 3000 or more points so we can switch to cash. Who else is going to do this? Are there groups just for this thing?

There are lots of groups for this purpose.. you just post your stuff in their group and everyone tries to leave comments and ratings so that they help you accumulate points.. and you do the same for them..

It's all a give and take..

Good luck on your quest to 3000.. I'm at 1109.. and I try to do a little at a time..

Each week I set a goal of how much I want to earn.. this week i want to get to 1300..

If I set my goal to be a little at a time.. I'm much more pleasantly surprised when I exceed it.. which I usually do..

There's lots of groups for that kind of thing. I'm not sure what they are but you can do a search at the top of your gather pages for groups and see what comes up.
Great goal Carla! I'll hope you make it! I know there are several groups just for this purpose but I can'tremember them right off the top of my head~I'll go through my groups tomorrow and pm you with a list of the one's I'm a member of if you'd like!

im totally with u and am tryin hard to get the cash option at the moment im at 629 and work hard everyday if u want to trade out articles that would be cool to i can post on all urs and u do in return let me know send me a email on here if so. Its a lil hard for me bein on dialup but im tryin so hard i need the cash so whatever i can get would be cool to help if i find groups to help i will send usome ur way also if u find any plz send them my way too... i just sent u a friends request so we can keep in touch also.

He bought some BOGS yesterday, nice insulated rain boots for work, came home and realized that when he tried them on... they put a size 10 and a size 11 in the box.

We watched "I am Legend" last night and it was SO good, but then of course Xenon had nightmares and ended up sleeping on the couch with the tv on. We were joking with him this morning about it.

I don't really care for Will Smith, but he did a great job. It was a great flick, I was surprised. It was only PG13 and it was scary. Xenon was jumping all over the place when he was watching it.

I don't think that I could get that many points even if I tried. My computer is to slow right now. An article takes forever and a day to load. Hopefully I will get a good amount of points this month though. I get the home depot gift cards myself. I can always find something there. I usually end up getting detergent or some cleaning supplies for the house.

I will try to help you some, but I am not sure how much help I will really be. I'm leaving next Monday to go to my parents' house for a little over a month, so I won't be on much at all once I leave here. That gives me less than a week of April to do most of my gathering.

You can do it! Once I got a computer that I could watch videos on, I did it the first month I started trying (In March.) In fact, I ended up with over 4500 points. Yippee. I'll try to help you out this month. Remind me, though, if you don't see me commenting. (I have fibromyalgia...and fibro fog.)

March was my first full month on gather and I did it. I got close to 3200 points and I had alot of personal things happening. Post, comment and rate everything, dont forget to connect. All the best to you. Let me know if you need help.

I wish I had time to spend on Gather to be able to make enough to get cash. I just cashed out for my first 50.00 GC after about a year not too long ago LOL but it was cool, cuz I got to go to Home depot and buy a new carpet for my bedroom and a bunch of other stuff.. can't beat free stuff! Good luck with your goal :O)
