Goats have sex, owner gets ticket

A woman In Dibble, Okla. was issued a ticket because her goats violated a city ordinance.  The woman has one male and three female goats.  The goats did what goats will do when the mood hits, they mated. 

The local town has an ordinance against animals having sexual intercourse with in city limits.  The woman did not know that the city had recently annexed the part of the county that included her property.

She was issued two tickets, one for the animals fornicating and the other for the animals defecating.

If it's her property that is sooooo lame. What if your cat gets out, are they going to catch them and track you down?! Just silly I think, but interesting article.

in most cases, a "grandfathering" situation applies. that means, if the situation existed before the law or code was enacted, it does not apply to the pre existing situation, only to new situations. ie if the new law says that fences cannot be over 5 ft, but my fence has been up for 20 years and it is 5 ft 5 in, my fence stays....however, if i decide to replace the fence, ithe replacement has to be according to the new code. i would be consulting a lawyer.

So now goats are allowed to neither mate nor defecate? What other options does this leave said goats? If goats do anything else, I'm certainly not aware of it.
