After traveling for a week to Florida at the end of April, there were no flowering trees, no green grass, and just buds on the tulips and daffodils. Now that we're in May, all of that has changed. These were all taken with my Nikon D80.

This is my neighbors tree in full bloom

I can smell the fragrance of the lilac bushes in the gentle morning breeze

An artistic take on the bright green grass that has come back to life

Every Mother's Day, I do my planting. This year I chose geraniums...

and Snapdragons....

and a small herb garden of parsley, rosemary, mint and dill.
Maybe with a little luck this year, my tomatoes and cucumbers will grow, too :).
