I thought she turned the tables nicely on the McCain ad. Especially the part where she flips from her normal vapid socialite guise into an intelligent, thinking adult guise. Think about this - Paris Hilton showing up John McCain for intelligent thought.

Actually, she combined the 2--much more similiar to Obama's than Grumpy McSame. Shoot, even chimpy McFlightsuit's energy department says that drilling for oil wouldn't help--it would take over 10 years to see that oil, would only amount to a decrease of maybe 2 cents per gallon and that would only happen if oil demand stayed stagnant. Those oil companies sell on the world market, not only USA--so it goes to the highest bidder...oh, but to know this, you'd have to actually pay attention, Lex--much easier to just parrot the talking points and not make your brain explode.....
It was rather droll. Interesting also that her political compromise suggestion was pretty well thought out, other than ignoring the climate change issue entirely. Well, she is a celeb, one can't have everything. But really, that is how it will work its way through Congress. There apparently is already an effort in Congress to permit offshore oil drilling in limited areas (excluding new england and most of the west coast because those congressional delegations are so adamantly opposed) in exchange for pushing renewables much more actively than GWB has been willing to do so far. That is what they call common sense. As a liberal environmentalist, I would love to enact legislation that pushed renewables, period. But in the sausage making machine, the other side needs something.

I think that a blog on the contents of Paris Hilton's feces would be more interesting. Disclosure: I am a Democrat, which is why Nader to win, but I will vote for B. Obama.
