Didn't Clinton have some sort of intern problem? I think it might have been mentioned once or twice in the media.

Lyndon Johnson and Viet Nam should come to mind if you're my age.

Harry Truman tollerated Gen. McArthur far too long.

Roosevelt (Franklin) tried to pack the Supreme Court.

Wilson (Woodrow) didn't understand international politics and failed to influence the Allies after WWI.

But mostly the administrations of the last 100 years have had a Republican Majority in at least one house of Congress or a Republican President. Almost everything that has been done by the U.S. Government has had the approval of the Republican Congress or Presicency. Also, the Supreme Court has had a majority of judges appointed by Republican Presidents for most of that time as well.

If you don't like what Government has been doing for the last 100 years you have to blaim the Republicans since they could have stopped it or "reformed" it in any of the times that they had the Presidency, the Congress (both houses) and the Supreme Court, as, for example, the last 7 years.

Lyndon Johnson allowing the Vietnam War to intensify.
President James Buchanan, for allowing secession and slavery and failing to avert the Civil War.
Woodrow Wilson's refusal to compromise on the Treaty of Versailles after World War I.
Jimmy Carter's encouragement to the Shah of Iran to torture and kill Islamist dissidents and his botched rescue of the American servicemen.
Bill Clinton for signing the NAFTA which sent American jobs and manufacturing out of our country.
Franklin Roosevelt for not heeding warnings about the Pearl Harbor attack.

Strange how these things are rarely talked about. I truly think the Dems don't know their history.
