Who is Ron Paul and What does he Stand for?

I and my family are Supporting Ron Paul  I honestly believe he is the best person for the Presidency.   Here are some of the reasons why.  I and my husband, son and daughter are NOT Republicans we are Independants and we will vote as such in the General Election.  I will be voting for some Democrats and yes some Liberals possibly.  I will Vote for Ron Paul as President however and so will the rest of my family even if we have to write him in.    When I was younger I did not vote one because of our Church policy.  I don't to that church anymore.   I vote now and I am glad I do.  It has made a difference and I can speak on issues with good conciense knowing I voted and so can make my voice heard.

Ron Paul is a doctor, he has served 10 terms as a U.S Congressman, he believes in getting America and Americans back to the grassroots basics of our nations founding fathers.  He is a Christan with a strong belief in God and our Country.  He is a Veteran.  He is the biggest threat to the Democratic Party which is why the Media who is very Biased is not allowing him much air time or even showing his paid ads. 

Even though we are supposed to have Freedom of the Press and Freedom of Speech the Media is supressing WE THE PEOPLE's Right to hear what Ron Paul has to say.  They have refused him to be in on Debates.  Which violates his and our rights to both of the first Amendment constitution right of such.  They want to shut him up, play his ability down and hope people will vote for their man or woman of the hour by not letting people hear what Ron Paul has to say.   They cannot control the Internet or word of mouth.  They cannot control telephone conversations or passing out Ron Paul flyers and one on one contact. 

The word is getting out and you would be wise to at least look at what he might have to say before just voting because someone is a woman, black or sounds good or is one of the "Good ole Boys".   Just why are you voting for whom you have chosen.  Do you really know what they stand for and what they will do for the country?   Is because you think it is time for  a woman to be president or a black man?   Don't get me wrong.  I have no problem voting for either if I honestly felt they would be the best choice for our floundering nation
I don't.   If Ron Paul were Rhonda Paul a woman I would still vote for "her"  or if he were Black or Brown or any other race I would still vote for him because of what he believes and stands for.  Not because he is male or white or he is pretty or talks good. 

I am hearing a lot of promises from the democrates the the championed media Republicans but Ron Paul is being choked deliberately by the Media.   WE the PEOPLE should sit up and ask WHY?  What is the MEDIA so afraid we will hear.  Maybe JUST maybe this man  is worth checking out and finding out what he stands for and what he believes and just why he wants to be president.  He is not like the other candidates.  He is actually someone who is got a lot going for him that with the right congress and the backing of the people might help the United States get back on her feet economically and bring home our troops. 

Our nation is in huge debt we as a nation owe over 9 trillion dollars yet we keep printing money with no backing and spending what we don't have and borrowing and the value of our American dollar keeps going down.  Ron Paul wants to bring our troops home which will save the USA trillions of dollars.  We won the war and now it is time to bring the troops home.  We don't need to keep them there to build nations o doing policing actions we need them home to protect our borders and to make a better national defense.  I have heard personally from many of the troops.  Some who came home on leave some who are leaving again but don't want to.  Most of our US troops and veterans in the know Support Ron Paul.   According to our own government the most donations from members of the armed forces are being given to RON PAUL by a huge margrin. 

Ron Paul is a Republican and he wants to cut taxes and pork barrel spending.  He has never voted for an unbalanced budget or to rob one dime from social programs like Medicare and Social Security or Welfare reform.  He has a 20 year plus record to prove this and speaks out against over spending and the terrible effect overspending has had on our economy. 

Ron Paul supports free trade and open communications with all nations and non-intervention in foreign policy.  He voted against going to war in Iraq because they did not pose a threat to our national security but he does support our troops being authorized to oppose legitimate terrorists who threaten our nation and people.  He believes in building a strong national defense with a strong miltary.  He served in the air force during the Vietnam War as a surgeon. 

Some of the issues:  Ron Paul does not support the NO CHILD left BEHIND act.  Rather he supports parental involvement and freedom of choice where your child is educated including in private schools or homeschooling.  He opposes Federal regulations and interference on marriage and he opposes illegal immigration.  He opposes the death penalty.  He feels government should not curb free market trade or interfere in it.  He supports abolishing the IRS and supports having a limited central government which is bound to uphold the constitution of the United States and that includes the Supreme Court which has made several illegal RULINGS against Constitutional and Congressional Law.  He supports indiviuals rights to privacy and no Government control of the internet.  He believes congressmen and women should have term limits. He supports the preservation and return of Habeas Corpus which some states have eliminated illegally.  He supports abolishing the Federal Reserve.  He supports the 2nd Amendment in its original form and Opposes the legistlation that restricts our first amendment rights which the last few presidents and congress both Demorcatic and Republicans have done and those opposing him want to continue to do.  Which means they want to restrict FREEDOM OF SPEECH, FREEDOM OF THE PRESS and most of all FREEDOM of RELIGION to worship and believe how you choose without prejudice or bias.  He opposes Federal regulation on abortion but believes it should be done at the state level of the states and people of the state want it.  He supports maintaining American Sovereignity and supports ending the failed War on drugs.  Supports the use of industrialized hemp.  He supports the indiviuals right to choose their own financial retirement plan.  He opposes governmentally controlled health care plans.  He opposes the national ID card.  He opposes using PUBLIC FUNDS for special INTEREST groups and certain people.  He opposes the delegation of Congressional Authority to the President.  Here is the url for his WEB PAGE.  AT least take a look at it and think about it.  http://www.ronpaul2008.com/.   Don't just go and say Okay I looked.  Click on some of the links and information such as; http://www.ronpaul2008.com/issues/ http://www.ronpaul2008.com/articles/901/constitutional-responses-to-terrorism/  and

If your still not convinced so be it but don't just stick your head in the sand and say well it is time for a woman or black man or hispanic or asian to be president.  It has nothing to do with Gender or Race.  It has to do with who wants America to be what it is supposed to be what our founding fathers fought to free ourselves from in 1700's and our declaration of Independance.   Free of taxes upon taxes,  Free of suppression and freedom to worship and to believe what we understand our bible tells us inspite of oppossion to it.    Read what he stands for the Media won't give him audience,  Ask why, what are they worried about, what are they hiding.  What is going on.  Think.  Then vote.  The primaries and caucus maybe over for some of you but for others it isn't yet.  Oregon, Texas.  Today Maine goes to Caucas

If you don't vote why don't you?  It does matter, don't complain if you don't like what our government is doing or not doing or if you don't like taxes or health care or retirement or economy you didn't vote and your vote might make the difference of who is in the White House and the turn our nation takes for good or bad. 

 Don't vote because you like the way someone looks or dresses or the flowery speeches.  LISTEN to what they represent and what they are saying and more importantly what they are not saying and how nasty their campaigns get toward their opponents.   Read, invesigate become informed.  Don't sit and listen to 5 second blurbs and cast your vote for something you really don't understand.   I don't care if you vote Republican, Democrat, Green Party, Liberal or some other party  find out what the candidates your voting for really stand for and why then cast your vote.  

If your not a registered vote and you can be it is not too late go and register then go and vote at least in the General Election this Fall.   And if you have chosen a party Democrat, Republican, Green, Libetarian or other why,  is it because Mom and dad did or grandpa or it is because you have always been one or your family has?  Or is it because you really believe and are informed and agree with the party your voting for and their issues and concerns.   Think about it.

Read some of this too unless your afraid to learn something.  I dare you.   If you don't like what I have to say I don't care.  I hate how our National leaders have taken us and IT was not just George W. Bush it was Bill Clinton and George SR and Ronald Reagan and others for some years.  While everyone says okay roll over, play dead, give me a video game, a movie and sport channel some pizza, chips and beer or soda and make the world go away.   Wake UP people and smell the Coffee. 

 Just maybe if we get a man or woman who really is of and for "WE the PEOPLE" America might capitulate at least for awhile.  Sooner or later we will go down.  Christ is returning to rule all nations there will be ONE WORLD ORDER but it will Gods way not Mans.  Maybe it is sooner than we think or maybe it is 4-8, 12,20, 40 years off yet.  Most of all PRAY for who GOD wants to be in office.  For his Will to be done even if Hillary or Obama wins or McCain Or Huckabee or Paul it is ultimately GODS will and we need to accept that and who ever becomes our next president we then need to support and most of all pray for them and our next congress.
