The dogs are playing today

They started playing on the deck when I was sitting down for breakfast, still playing when I was done with breakfast.  Then when I was carrying the dishes over to the sink to wash them up a bit and take my meds, I saw Candy the little dog run down the steps and out in back by the tree, she then ran around the back lawn a bit.  Then she ran back to the bottom of the steps all the while Dion just stood at the top of the steps and waited.  At the bottom of the steps I could see Candy who was then sitting, eying Dion who was still standing at the top of the deck.  Then Candy ran back up the steps, and as I was all done in the kitchen and I thought I’d write this down, as the weather is about 40 out and just fine for the dogs.  Over-all the time this was going on was about forty minutes, which is about the longest I have ever seen them play.  I can still hear them running out on the deck playing while I am writing this.
