Well as it’s cool today

I put on a light weight flannel shirt as the forecast high for today is only 52. This is the first time I have done that since sometime last Spring.

I’m thinking about some changes as the temp tonight is forecasted to be 36 and tomorrow 35. The first of which is to put a throw over the foot of my bed as I don’t like cold feet. The second is to move most of my short sleeve shirts to the back closet and some of the heaver flannel to the closet in the bedroom.

Richard, this morning was the first Minnesota morning in a looooooooong time where I put on socks and shoes instead of sandals.

I'm not giving up and switching the rest of my wardrobe just yet...

I put away my sandals a week or so ago Julia. I’m one of those guys that always wear socks which are only black, with sandals, so there’s not much difference there. However I also have a pair of woven water buffalo hide shoes from India that I really like a lot but after three or four years the strands on the front of one of them is busted out for about two inches and I’ll probably just buy another pair next summer as they are less than fifty bucks.

I know, many don’t feel that ‘busted’ is a legitimate word in the connotation which I used there. But all one need is to think of a large buxom but slim broad with a way too tight bikini top and they might just get my point with the usage of the phrase ‘busted out’ which I used.
