Free Perennials! Bring your shovel!

Hello fellow Minnesota gardeners!

 My husband and I are going to be digging up one of the perennial gardens in our yard to convert it back to lawn.  I'd like to offer you the chance to come take some before it gets dug up. 

 I know it may sound strange to change a garden back to lawn but this particular garden is in the middle of the yard and spends 3 months of the summer looking like an overgrown weed patch. 

I don't know the names of everything in the garden, the most common flower is one that grows to be 4+ feet tall and has pretty yellow flowers.   There is also some sage, a few purple coneflowers, some other small purple flowers whose name I don't know, and a plant that grows pretty seed pods.

All of these plants are currently growing in the shade of two large maple trees but would probably do just as well in the sun. 

Apart from this garden I also have some humongous hostas that could use dividing.
