Aweful Weather!!

I'm usually pretty tolerant of Minnesota's wild weather swings but I have to admit that I am most unhappy with the weather this weekend. Give me rain, give me snow, give me heat, give me a drizzle but this gray windy day is most unpleasant.

I've developed allergies in the last couple years and this wind is wreaking havoc with my sinuses. I would love to go mow my over-grown lawn but my head would blow up like a balloon. I'd love to go weed my garden or prune my bushes but it's miserable doing it.

Some people threaten to move elsewhere when it's snowing and fridgid; just give me respite from this horrible gray windy day and I'll be happy!

Allergies are horrible to live with! You have my empathy. I hope your weather is kinder to you soon. :)

I developed allergies when we moved to southern Illinois, but they aren't so bad I have to stay inside. I thought I'd stop by and tell you that I ate a piece of chocolate toffee in your honor, as you suffered through your gray day. Isn't is amazing how much better we feel when the sun shines?

I never had allergies 'til I hit 40. Now I take Claritin every morning... if I don't, I become an instant mucus factory.
Today's definitely gloomy, and it makes me sleepy and a bit blue. I'm with you, M.K. - I'd rather have SOMETHING going on rather than this depressing drizzle. Okay, maybe not a tornado, but geez, a spot of sunshine would be very welcome!
