One property that tea drinking boasts just isn't happening for me... sigh... I'm about middle age and still plagued with monthly bouts of acne... not too bad, mind you, but I had such high hopes that the tea diet would help clear up those pesky blemishes too.
Oh, well, I'll take health and energy over a clear complexion any day, I guess!
Maybe in time?
Does any one have any insight? After a 1/2 month am I expecting too much and is a clearer complexion something that will happen over time?
And why, oh why, do I still have to have teenage problems at my age? LOL
Hugs,
Barb
PS= Beyond that, everything else is going great!

Heather, I had the worst problems in my early twenties... and like I said, it's not bad now, but frustrating to have to deal with. I don't use much either, no makeup and all sensitive skin products, but sigh... hormones! LOL
Bob, thanks for the reasurrance... yup, it's like, what's next- I want it all! *grin* I'm not dissapointed really, just hoping that part kicks in eventually :) My healthy, and over all wellness is of most importance. If I can get to the point of playing a round of soccer with the kids in the yard, you know I'll keep the occasional blemishes :)
Hugs,
Barb
I think that it might take a while to really see results in that area, so don't give up hope:)
Thanks all!

Please give the tea some time to work. It takes some time to clear away the blood impurities causing the acne.
Now what else you may do is take the leaves from the steeped tea (wet) and rub them onoto your skin. Steep the leaves for a minute, let them cool and rub gently onto the areas. You are now adding the EGCG right to the areas. The Chinese and japanese women have been doing this for centuries.
Let see what happens after 2 months ok? Remember this is tea not something out of a laboratory.
keep up the greta work.
