Okay, well, day 15.5 is really the halfway mark if we are looking at a 31 day month, but close enough! :)
Because the goals are so realistic and the plan is so easy to follow, it's been simple to stick with it. Thanks Dr. Tea for helping me on the path to better health with such sound and sage advice.
I'm mid-way through the 14 day plan listed in The Ultimate Tea Diet and unlike other plans I've tried in the past, I'm a) not starving, b) satisfied with the taste and variety of the dishes, and c) looking forward to a second week! I may even continue to mix it up through a third and fourth week, while adding back in some of our family favorites- cooked with tea and revamped with some healthier choices for other ingredients, too.
Speaking of tea cooking... on my weekly trip to the grocer today, I found that Kashi makes a healthy version of a waffle with green tea and white tea! How cool?! With some fresh fruit, and maybe a yogurt topping too, these will make an excellent breakfast option.
Has anyone seen any other new products on the market made with tea? I'd love to check them out.
