After getting Michelle K's lovely surprise yesterday, I got to thinking how much fun it would be to have a tea swap.
Basically, we would form a group and swap a few tea bags of our favorite teas with each other. The expense would be minimal and it would be a great way to taste new teas and expand our tea libraries through Gather friends.
This would be open to those participating in the Tea Diet Challenge, and to those who are just tea lovers!
Is anyone interested?
If you are, please email me this weekend, via Gather, and I'll be happy to coordinate the swap.
On the challenge note...
Today I'm making Lemon Tea Baked Halibut for dinner ('cept I'm substituting Tilapia as that's what I have in the freezer) and nixing one ingredient (of course, not the tea!) and looking forward to a TEAna Colada Fostea for dessert.
Cooking with tea has been easy and rewarding, due to the yummy recipes in the 14 Day Plan from The Ultimate Tea Diet. It's been fun to shake up my old routine meals and try some great dishes, some of which are already on my keeper list.
I also like that I don't have to use any proprietary foods and can easily flex a meal or dessert from one day to another, not having to follow the 14 Day Plan precisely as listed. I am saving up, though, to get some of Dr. Tea's Candy Bar Black Tea, though. The recipe to make your own is in the book, but I'm guessing Dr. Tea's conconction is heavenly.
Hope everyone is doing well with the challenge, and with every aspect of life!
Thanks for sticking with me! Your support means the world to me!
Hugs,
Barb
