Hou de Fine Tea
Making Formosa Oolong ; internet video ; in 3 Parts.
URL: http://www.youtube.com/user/houdefinetea
This is a free-access, twelve minute video which is presented in three parts. The videos cover the making of Formosa Jade oolong tea from picking it in the field, through the processing of the leaves, to the packing stage of the dried final product. This is “internet quality” video made on a small budget.
I find this video useful for showing the landscape, personnel and the basic processes involved in oolong tea production in Taiwan (Formosa).
There are English sub-titles rather than narration and prominent background music. The sub-titles are on the screen briefly and they are in a difficult-to-read font, so the viewer needs to pay close attention to them.
